Homemade Hair Products
You can easily make your own hair care products with these simple ingredients. So, there is no longer any need for you to spend a massive amount of money on your store brought hair care products that hurt the environment, and are not natural. Instead, use these recipes to have the best hair day.
Shampoo- we all need it, Now we can make it!
Chamomile Fields Shampoo
Ingredients
1. 4 bags of Chamomile tea
2. 4 tablespoons pure soap flakes (use potato peeler to shave soap for flakes)
3. 1 1/2 tablespoons glycerin (brought at health stores)
Directions 1. Boil tea bags for ten minutes in 1 1/2 cups of water. 2. Discard tea bags from water, add in soap flakes. 3. Add in glycerin once soap desolves completely. Stir until mixed well. 4. Store in a dark place. It last for about a week because it does not have a preservative.
Conditioner- You should condition your hair, every time you shampoo it. This will maintain your hairs elasticity, and make your hair shiny and soft.
Egg conditioner
Ingredients
1. 1 teaspoon baby oil
2. 1 egg yolk
3. 1 cup water
Directions: Beat yolk in a bowl until its frothy, then add oil while beating. Add to water, then pour on your scalp. Leave on for five to ten minutes then rinse well.
Hair Spray- Use to hold hair in the style of you choice.
Ingredients
1. 1 orange chopped
2. 2 cups of water
Directions: Boil chopped orange in the water until half of the water has evaporated. Then let it cool. Once cooled, pour into a spray bottle and store. It will store for two weeks outside a refrigerator.
Hair Gel- This is essential. Use it, but not to much.
Ingredients
1. 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon of unflavored gelatin
2. 1 cup of warm water
Directions: Mix together, then store in a jar. Use on hair when needed.
