Run Virus Scan on Another Computer Using Windows Live Messenger

Sending and receiving files from contacts using Windows Live Messenger is risky. It's best to use a dedicated virus scanner for instant messenger applications, if the installed antivirus program does not monitor activities using instant messenger.

    How Windows Live Safety Scanner Works in Instant Messenger
