Selecting Photos and Layout to Create Personalized Calendars in HP Image Zone
HP Image Zone Calendars
HP Image Zone is great for printing personalized calendars. There is only one template that you can use but it is a really cool template. You have the choice of using one photo or four photos. You can create these calendars using your home office computer. You can print these calendars out or you can save them as a wallpaper.
In this tutorial I am going to show you how to create these personalized calendars using HP Image Zone. This is a two part tutorial. The first part will walk you through selecting your photos and layout. The second part of the tutorial will show you how to add and remove occasions and how to print your calendar.
Opening HP Image Zone and Selecting Photos
You will first need to open your HP Image Zone program and let it load. When it loads, you should be viewing the View section. If you are not, click the View tab at the top of your window. Next, you will need to select the photos that you want to use for the calendar. So, locate the folder with the photos on the left. Click the folder and the photos will load in your right panel. Click the photos in the right panel to select them. Select the photos that you want to use and move to the next step.
Selecting the Calendar Project and Paper Size
Next, you will need to select the calendar project. Click the Create tab at the top of your window. In the create section you will need to click the Calendar icon. In the next section you will need to select the size paper that you plan on using. Drop the paper size box down in the middle panel and select the size paper. Then click Next in the bottom of that panel.
Selecting a Layout and Calendar Type
The section that you are on now asks you to select a layout. You can select the one photo layout or the four photo layout. Drop the box down and make your selection. Click the Next button to move on. Now you will need to select the type of calendar that you want to create. You can create a one year calendar or a one month calendar. Tick the field of your choice and click the Next button.
Rearranging your Photos
The section that you are on now allows you to rearrange your photos. You can click the photos on your calendar and drag them to another slot. Rearrange the photos how you want them. If you are using the one photo layout, you can skip this part. Then click the Next button.
Move on to part two of this tutorial to learn how to add and remove occasions. This is a very cool feature that HP Image Zone offers.
