Top 5 Symbian Phones: Nokia N8 and Nokia E72
Page content

Symbian as an OS has been stagnating for a long time. Nokia is trying hard to make it compete with the Android and iOS platform phones but somehow it always falls short. There are three main versions of Symbian now: S60 v3 OS9.x for standard phones, S60 v5 for touchscreen phones and Symbian ^3 for Nokia’s newest touchscreen phones.

Nokia has officially announced that it will be moving its whole high end smartphone lineup to the MeeGo platform after the release of the Nokia N8, the sole Symbian ^3 smartphone. Android is undoubtedly the biggest threat to the existence of the Symbian platform. Check out our list of the Top 10 Android Smartphones

This is a list of the top 5 Symbian smartphones in existence today (some of them haven’t been released yet but will be launching soon).
