The TomTom XL 340 S GPS unit is a complete widescreen Internet connected GPS navigation device with very accurate maps. The directions are spoken with stepwise instructions with street names. The device will guide you to any address in the United States, Canada and Mexico and includes over seven million points of interest preloaded on the device.

The TomTom XL 340 S GPS device measures 4.7 x 0.8 x 3.2 inches in dimension and weighs around 7 ounces. As compared with other GPS devices, this one is considered slightly larger and thicker in size.
A large and comparatively loud speaker of 2 inches is positioned at the back and a mini USB port at the bottom edge of the device serves in connecting the car charger which is included with the device. For mounting the device onto your windshield, you just need to flip open the suction cup, place the device properly and fix it by twisting the locking ring by a turn of quarter measurement. The additional peripherals included with the TomTom XL 340 S GPS device are a USB connection cable, an adhesive disk for attaching the device on the dashboard in case if you do not want to fix it in the windshield, and a 12 volt car charger.
