The TN765t has a wide screen that measures 5.1”. This is a very clear and bright LCD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and is wide enough for any user to view the maps and read the text easily. Some GPS devices does not have wide screens, but the advantage of these screens is that these allow the users to fully enjoy the benefits of a high resolution display, without drawing much attention from their viewpoint or straining their eyes. The visibility of the screen is clear from different angles, even in sunlight.
The device has a devoted power and menus buttons on the top edge. There are 6 buttons at the bottom corners; the volume up/down, mute and preset buttons are at left and the zoom in and out and short cut keys are at the right side. The device has a reset button at the bottom corner of the device and a memory card slow, a micro0USB port and a multi-pin connector is also at the same place.

User Interface (5 out of 5)
The Tn765t has a very easy-to-follow user interface. On the top of the screen, an information bar is displayed. It gives you all the statistics like speed, location, and other GPS information. There is no separate menu system, instead all the menus are placed on the top of the map and they open up as left and right panels from the corners.
The right panel menu slides open when the user taps on any part of the map. When this menu opens, an “Enter Destination” field, three soft keys appears. The left panel menu opens when a rectangular thin bar at the left of the screen is pressed. This menu provides information about traffic, directions, nearby POIs, etc.
The device allows the users to place the POI icons on top of the maps. The maps appear in standard form but they can also be viewed in 3D. Large buildings and major landmarks are also represented as 3D models, making it easier for the user to view them on the screen.

The TN765t comes with all such features that a GPS user could expect from a good GPS device, such as graphical lane guidance, text to speech, etc. Most of the features are accessible though a voice command, and the device is quick at responding to user’s commands.
The connectivity option on TN765t is Bluetooth. The device is able to read your SMS messages, if you don’t want to use your phone, and it also allows you to download traffic data for highways, free of cost. The TN765t comes with an application called MotoExtras. This is a very handy application as it lets you connect to Motorola’s data servers through your phone and download information on latest fuel prices, flight status and weather forecasts, directly onto the device. The MotoNav TN765t is shipped with a 12-volt power cable, a micro-USB cable, a multilingual user’s guide, and a dashboard mounting disc.

The Motorola MotoNav’s wide screen allows the users to fully enjoy large menu icons and maps. The robust feature set is a real plus and certainly worth the cost. The device gives a tough competition to other portable navigation devices, and is a great choice for frequent travelers.
