Download a Free Easter Bunny Letter Template for MS Word or Publisher

You may have used Microsoft Publisher to create other Easter-related publications, such as lovely Easter cards. Why not use this versatile application to make a vibrant, fun letter from the Easter Bunny to your child, grandchild or other special little one? Using a template such as this one makes it even easier to accomplish. (Click on the image to the right to enlarge it.)
This template was created using Microsoft Publisher 2010, but is compatible with Publisher 2003 and 2007 as well. The letter features a pale mint green background that coordinates with the colorful Easter egg clip art that borders both the top and bottom of the page. You can change or eliminate the background if you choose. In Publisher 2003 or 2007, go to the Format menu and select Background to modify the appearance. In Publisher 2010, go to the Page Design tab and click on Background in the Page Background group.
The letter is written using the fun and festive Curlz MT font, which you can change as well if you choose. It also features a heliotrope (pinkish-purple) drop cap letter D in the opening line.
To personalize the letter, find and replace the bolded sample text within the letter. For example, the greeting line of the letter reads, “Dear (Child’s Name).” Simply delete the sample text and type in the name of the child to whom you are sending the letter. There are places to add the child’s name, address, favorite treat and even a good deed the child recently performed.

Sending the Letter
Once you have customized and printed the letter, you can simply tuck it into an envelope and tell your child it came in the mail. If your child is old enough to read and you have some time before Easter comes, though, you can make it even more fun by adding a special Easter postmark. Place the letter into an envelope addressed to your child from the Easter Bunny. Then, insert that envelope into another, larger one and address it to the postmaster at any of the following post offices. Be sure to add postage to both the inner and outer envelopes. The post office will open the outer envelope, postmark the inner one and send it to the child’s address.
