Where To Find A Basketball Photo Background Download
Where to Find Basketball Backgrounds
Have you taken a few basketball photos of your favorite team? Then, you may have some very busy looking pictures. However, you can eliminate the background of your photo and add one that better shows off your subject. This is easily done with a basketball photo background download. Many of your favorite teams have free backgrounds available for download.
This is especially true for college teams. Everyone from Duke University to Wake Forest have backgrounds available for download. And, these are all free. Most of these backgrounds were originally intended as just desktop backgrounds, but, you can save them to a file as opposed to your desktop. While some of the backgrounds have players and stats, others just have the logo for the basketball team, and these are the ones that allow you to simply add your foreground image over the current background.
How to Download These Backgrounds
To start using the background for your favorite team, go to their website. See if there are free background downloads available. Teams like Duke University and Wake Forest both have free background downloads available. If they do have free background downloads, then select the background that you would like to use. Many of the sites have different resolutions for the background. You should probably select the highest resolution as the higher the resolution is, the better the final picture will look.
Once you click on it, this should take you to a larger preview image. Right-click on the image and select save as. Give your image a name, and then save it to your desired location.
There are also generic basketball wallpapers available from several different third-party websites, which you may use without having to pay for a license. Sites like FanImages.com and BaskeWallpapers.com could be a good place to start, but you will have to do a lot of research to find an appropriate background on these sites. These backgrounds tend to be very busy, and, you will have to do a lot of searching if you are looking for one particular team. But, most of these backgrounds are free as well, which means that you can always change them up to fit your needs.
You should only use backgrounds and photos that you have permission to use. Do not just copy and paste photos from different websites, or it may be infringing on someone else’s image rights.
Removing Your Present Background
Now that you have your background, you need to cut out your foreground image. You can do this in a number of programs, including Adobe Photoshop. You just need to create a cutting patch around your foreground image to remove the background. You should start with a large cutting path. This will allow you to remove most of the background so that you can really just focus on your foreground image in the successive cutting paths. See this article on Removing Backgrounds in Photoshop for more help.
Basically, just keep zooming into your image until you can see you have removed the entire background. You can also use the Eraser tool to finish up the process. Once the background is gone, simply drop your new foreground image onto your selected background, and save it. Then, you are done.
