Organize Your Closet For Less

Are you tired of looking at your cluttered closet every day? Well you don’t have to be anymore, you can organize that cramped closet without spending a whole lot of cash. You may not know, but there are some items that you may already have in your home that can help with your organization.

First thing you need to do is weed out anything and everything in your closet. Put everything into separate piles for what you are going to throw out, give to charity (or to a friend or family member) and what you are going to keep. Once you have decided what you are going to keep, then you have to organize it all.

Do you need more shelf space in your closet so you can get a lot of things off the floor and more organized? Well if you have an old bookcase that you do not use anymore, move it into your closet. You can now move everything (that will fit on the shelves) in the bookcase so you will be able to have more floor room.

Shoeboxes are great to store not only your shoes, but other items in your closet as well. They are easily stackable and sturdy enough to hold a lot of things that you may have lying around in your closet. And the best part is many of us have a lot of these boxes dumped in our closets already!

There are also many items that you can purchase for cheap in order to help you organize your closet. For example, canvas boxes and collapsible storage bins can help provide a lot of storage for you. These two objects can be purchased at any large office supply store or department store for anywhere from $10-$20 each.

Hanging shelves are also good because you can hang them from your closet keeping them out of the way and off the floor. These can be found in the same stores as stated above and can range from $5-$15. These are good for the smaller and lighter things in your closet.

Organize your closet easily and cheaply. You do not have to buy a lot of things to help you organize, you just need to look around the house and see what you can use. It’s as simple as that!
