The major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint and even the smaller players like Virgin Mobile and U.S. Cellular all have family mobile phone plans. Some family plans provide talk, text and web, others one or more of the above. Some are nationwide plans and you can make calls from anywhere in the country while others are restricted to your local region. Some plans charge you extra per minute for going over your minute allocation on the one hand, but on the other hand you lose your unused minutes at the end of the month. Other plans allow you to rollover your unused minutes from one month to the next. The best cheap family cell phone plans however are affordable and value-packed with the most features at the lowest prices. Here are the family plans that meet these criteria.
