Using iPhone 4 Sports - Best iPhone Armband Options

Imation Sportwrap Armband Case for iPhone 3G, 3Gs
This is one of the best iPhone armbands if you’ve got the 3G or 3Gs. It is made of neoprene material and has a soft and wide strap that will hold it securely to your arm and won’t easily loosen up when running or doing other sports exercises. It also has a soft Velcro that will make it fit your arm whether it is big or small. It also has a very thin plastic cover that gives enough protection to your iPhone’s screen, but will not affect your screen’s sensitivity to touch. This iPhone armband is also great if you’re not using a wireless headset, as it has a pre-cut hole for your wired headsets’ headphone jack. (Price: $18.95)
Tuneband for iPhone 4, Grantwood Technology’s Armband
If you’ve got either the AT&T or Verizon iPhone 4, this iPhone armband will fit both of them perfectly. You’ll appreciate its secure, thick and protective silicone skin, which also lets you access your iPhone 4’s ports. This iPhone armband also has a nice, stretchy Velcro band that is easily adjustable to fit any size arm. And yes, it comes with a low tack peel front and back protector, so that ensures great protection for both the screen and back glass panel of your iPhone 4. The best thing about this armband, is that it won’t loosen up from you arm even if you do long distance, rigorous running. Makes it perfect for marathons. (Price: $18.99)
Marware SportShell Convertible Case for iPhone 4
This iPhone armband is your best bet if you want to bring your iPhone 4 with you when running. It is quite unique because it’s not only an armband but also an iPhone 4 case. It’s composed of a hard shell case, an armband case, a belt case and a tabletop viewing case. What’s good about this 4-in-1 iPhone armband, is that it easily and quickly attaches to the armband whether you are using it before as a normal case, a belt case or tabletop case. And as an armband, it is comfortable and reflective and keeps your iPhone 4 protected from your own perspiration. Finally, this iPhone 4 case is stylish as well, being made from excellent materials with a smooth matte finish. (Price: $21.40)
iLuv iCC212 Armband Case with Glow-in-the-Dark Frame for iPhone 4 and 3G/3GS
What makes this iPhone armband worthy of being included on our list, is the fact that it fits both iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G/3GS. So if you have an iPhone 3G/3Gs and you upgrade to iPhone 4 later on, you can still use the armband. Although it got mixed reviews from users, it’s still comforting to know that it secures your iPhone and keeps it dust-free while you are running or working out at the gym. One reason why it is getting some negative reviews is the fact that it does not give you access to your iPhone’s volume control. If you have the factory-supplied Apple headset with volume controls though, then this armband is a good choice. (Price: $14.44)
Belkin Dual Fit Armband
This is the iPhone armband I’m using when I run. I previously bought an un-branded iPhone 4 case for a cheaper price and was not happy with it. So, I decided to purchase the Belkin Dual Fit Armband and have been using it for a couple of runs now. What I appreciate about this armband is that I can easily slip my iPhone 4 into it and it keeps it tightly secured inside. Perfect for long distance running. The Velcro Strap is also heaven sent as it makes my life easier when strapping it round my arms. Best of all, its price is relatively cheap compared to most other brands. (Price: $12.52)
So which is the best iPhone armband? I’m inclined to give it to the Belkin Dualfit iPhone armband because it gives me what I want for an iPhone armband at a low price. But if you don’t mind paying more, the other four iPhone armbands are worthy of your hard-earned money as well, and will give you what you want for in an armband for your iPhone.
