Motorola Droid X vs HTC Droid Incredible - Comparison

HTC was one of the first Android backers while Motorola joined the Android bandwagon a bit later. But Motorola dedicated itself completely to Android while HTC is still playing with other platforms like Windows Phone 7 and BREW.
The current king of the Android lineup is the Samsung Galaxy S, and Samsung also holds the largest share of all Android devices. Even the latest Google Android phone - the Google Nexus S was made by Samsung.
Motorola, on the other hand, made Android cool with the Droid campaign with Verizon. The Motorola Droid X is one of the best Android devices yet. The HTC Droid Incredible is quite similar to the Droid X in terms of specifications and it is also available on Verizon.
In this comparison, I pit the Motorola Droid X against the HTC Droid Incredible.

The Motorola Droid X has a standard touchscreen candybar form factor, and so does the HTC Droid Incredible. Both sport a similar design, with the display dominating the front face and the standard Android keys below the display - Home, Back, Search and Menu. Both the phones have really nice build quality and feel suite sturdy and well built. Even though the Droid X has a much larger display, it is actually slimmer. But the other dimensions and the weight are more than the Droid Incredible.
While the Droid Incredible is compact, the Droid X offers a much bigger display. The choice lies with you, whether you want a smaller, more portable phone or a bulkier phone with a bigger display.
The Droid X has a 4.3 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels while the Droid Incredible has a 3.7 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. If you want a more compact phone with the Sense UI instead of MotoBLUR, go with the HTC Droid Incredible.
