Some of the functions in the app include string functions, information functions, statistical functions, logical functions, and mathematical functions. The eOffice 4.6 app is designed to edit, view, create, and share Microsoft Office files, including Microsoft Excel speadsheets. The app recognizes a variety of files types including .doc, .xls, .xlsx, and .ppt. It also supports PDF files, faxes, and images. By using the virtual network drive, all the documents are accessible from the BlackBerry device. You can save Excel files in their native format to an SD card, transfer to desktop via USB, or e-mail the files. The eOffice 4.6 app is available at BlackBerry App World for $14.99.

Like eOffice, Documents To Go supports various Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, on the BlackBerry device. The Excel portion of the app is named Sheets to Go. It is compatible with Excel 97-2010 for Windows and Excel 98-2008 for Mac. The app features e-mail integration, which is used to open attachments, and shortcuts for SureType and Qwerty. Many of the editing features of Excel are available in this app. Documents To Go is available at DataViz for $14.99.
