Thesis Theme by DIY Themes (5 out of 5)

The Thesis Theme by DIY Themes is one of the most hyped themes out there. I have yet to find a bad review of Thesis. However, this may be due to the fact that many people doing the reviews are affiliates of the DIY Themes program. This is what you can expect from the Thesis Theme from a completely unbiased opinion. Thesis started as a simple WordPress theme and has gradually been developed into many different versions over time. Each version released does get dramatically better and incorporate new features. The key to Thesis is the way that it is setup. Thesis uses hooks, in which you edit and customize your theme all within two files (Custom CSS, and custom PHP). This makes Thesis effective in a different way than most themes. By calling styles from only 2 main files, Thesis makes it easy to maintain a good clean code. As for the SEO benefits it claims, I find it not that much better than any other well coded WordPress theme. In terms of support, Thesis uses a forum in which members seek answers from other members and has now included limited video support. Some may find Thesis a little awkward to work with. However, if you can get used to using hooks, then you can customize Thesis to an unbelievable level. If you are new to WordPress you can find out how to install your themes here. You can use these themes on WordPress.com.

WP-Vybe Theme by Solostream (5 out of 5)

This may very well be, the most underrated theme out there. This theme was created by a developer named Michael Pollock, and is now in its 1.1 version which is the second updated release. When WP-Vybe was initially released, it was ahead of its’ time. With the latest release, there is not much more you could ask for. What makes WP-Vybe so great? Every function in this theme works efficiently straight out of the box. The reliability and support for the WP-Vybe theme are excellent. This theme is very well coded, and SEO benefits seem to be as good as any other. The only downfall is that this theme is a little expensive with a $99.99 price tag, which may draw many users away. However, if you can afford the theme it is worth every penny.

Web2Feel Themes (4 out of 5)

If you are looking for a completely free WordPress theme with premium features, then Web2Feel has many options to pick from. The only drawback of using these themes are that they are not quite as cleanly coded as many paid premium themes; and if you do choose to use one of the themes, you must maintain 3 major links in the footer of your blog that cannot be changed. If you do not mind those two things, then definitely check out Web2Feel. Visually the themes are very appealing.
