Courses that are included are Research Methods or Asssessing Information, Introduction to Information Policy or Foundations of Information Professions, Management of Information Organization and Information Organization. Florida State University is accredited by the American Library Association and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

University of Southern Mississippi: Regionally accredited by the Commission of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the American Library Association, students may earn their Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science entirely online. A program of 39 credit hours, with an additional 21 credit hours of supplemental endorsement for School Library Media Specialist may be earned. The tuition cost is $425 per credit hour for out of state students.
