Counseling Certificates

Professionally speaking an individual will usually get licensed on the master’s degree level in regards to Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Psychotherapists, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. So if the person has already attained a master’s degree which is the only education really needed for licensure, why would an individual go back to school? The answer is simple, specialization in certain areas helps to bring in more groups of people and expands on your credentials. Specialization in counseling can now be obtained with Post Graduate Certificates and here’s one you can get online.
