RHODE ISLAND OPPORTUNITY PROGRAMS
Access to Opportunity is a retention program designed to serve Community College of Rhode Island students who qualify as low income and/or first generation in college (neither parent graduated from a four-year college) or as having a disability. Students who have academic potential but need additional support to reach their educational goals may benefit from the program.

State Funded Scholarships and Grants Administered by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is by way of Access & Equity Competitive Grant, Graduate Incentive Scholarship and HEAP Incentive Grant.
SOUTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY (SCSU)
Available scholarship for need based assistance for college are by way of Dick Horne Foundation Scholarships, Marian Baxter Paul Scholarship, NFL/NFL Players Association, Scholarship 0007Graduate Incentive Scholarship and the HEAP Incentive Grant.

SD Board of Regents Endowed Scholarships
The South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship for $5,000 is awarded to high school graduates from South Dakota who will complete a four-year curriculum and maintain certain academic standards.

Texas
State Funded/Administered Financial Aids
Texas Public Educational Grant- available to Texas residents, or non-residents or foreign students with financial needs. Students will register for selective service to be exempt from requirements but should show financial need.
Texas Educational Opportunity Grant Program (TEOG) - are grants available to students with dire financial needs and are enrolled in a two-year public college. Family contribution per ECF should not be more than $2,000.
TEXAS (Towards Excellence, Access and Success) Grant- these grants are available to deserving high school students who wish to pursue college education but have dire financial need and must not have been convicted of any felony or crime in relation to prohibited substances. Family contribution based on ECF should not be more than $4,000.

TSU List of Outside Scholarships where you can find the need-based aid in scholarships awarded by Charley Wooten Grant Program, Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, Inc, Gates Millennium Scholarship (GMS),
The Delphian Endowment Scholarship is based merit, character and financial need and will be available only for Fall and Spring semesters and succeeding 8 semesters leading to graduation. There are no strict requirements regarding to gender, age, religion, race or ethnic origin, but it is important that he or she must be a citizen or permanent resident of the US. This is open to undergraduate Sophomore, Junior, or Senior who possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 from all colleges attended and must be enrolled full time or at least for 12 credit hours every semester.
Utah
State Funded Grants and Scholarships
Regents’ Scholarship- this scholarship is open to all Utah high school students who intend to pursue education in a public college or university in Utah Systems University including Brigham Young University, Westminster College and LDS Business College.
Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education offers financial aid to undergraduates, graduates, and professional students in the following 15 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
New Century Scholarship Program- this scholarship is designed to encourage students to accelerate their education by taking up an Associate’s degree in high school from an institution within the Utah System of Higher Education. The award will be used to pay for a 4-year public college or university within the Utah System of Higher Education, as well as at Brigham Young University and Westminster College.

Vermont
State Funded Grants and Scholarships
Vermont Incentive Grant- this grant is provided to Vermont residents attending the University of Vermont College of Medicine or are in pursuit of a career to become a Doctor of Veterinary medicine. Vermont Incentive Grants are based on financial need and they can be used at schools either within Vermont or out-of-state.
