Windows Server - The Control Panel and Different Features
This collection of screen shots are used for troubleshooting the system, or for setting up some working features. The tool to use is the Control Panel.
The function of the Control Panel is to provide different tools that will control the system.
For Example the display - or monitor features can be controlled here.
You can control the appearance of the desktop
You can also control the icons.
You can change other aspects of the display monitor, for instance what kind of resolution is available.
As one can see, the technical control available is multifaceted. This tool set is designed to allow granular control of many aspects of the computer; some are designed for hardware control, and others are for software control.
Server 2003 - Other Computer Controls
The most important user on the Server 2003 system is the administrator. This account has all privileges available and can control what happens on the computer. Here is the administrator menu that is launched from the start button on the taskbar on the lower left part of the screen.
On the start menu, when one clicks “My Computer”, you will see what the hardware configuration looks like.
The other control that is important is help.
And search is important as well because it allows you to find files or commands.
Summary
Server 2003 is now seven years old. Many business enterprises continue to use it because it can perform a variety of tasks like a domain controller which acts as a network central manager. Server 2003 can also function as an e-mail server, a database server, a financial server, a web server or any other computer that involves robust operations.
It has good security features, it can run active directory which will control users and computers in the network. It is stable so it will not lockup, or freeze, or function in a random manner during highly volatile network situation.
