Quoted from my recent Bright Hub article The Cost of a Tablet PC, the “Dell Latitude XT is a convertible Tablet PC that starts at $2,500 and has Dual-Mode Pen and Touch Technology which lets you choose between using your pen or your fingers to write and manipulate your onscreen cursor.” It weighs an average of 4 pounds and has a battery life of up to 9 hours.

What does the Dell Latitude XT Tablet PC come with?

  • Processor: Choose between an Intel® Core™ 2 Solo ULV processor U2100 (1.06GHz) or an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo ULV processor U7600 (1.20GHz).

  • Hard Drive: Choose between a 40GB/80GB 1.8” 4200 RPM hard drive or a 120GB 1.8” 5400 RPM hard drive.

  • Memory: Choose up to 3GB.

  • Display: Choose between a fantastically bright 12.1" WXGA CCFL LCD or an ultra thin 12.1" WXGA LED-backlit LCD.

  • Audio: Nothing too special here, just a plan old Headphone Output/Microphone Input with a single speaker.

  • Video: Integrated ATI Radeon X1250 UMA Graphics.
