    Introduction

The HTC Fuze is manufactured by the same powerhouse that released the ever-popular HTC EVO 4G. The HTC family has been growing rapidly to include more devices for all kinds of people and all kinds of budgets. HTC has made it a point to release a smartphone that is perfect for every type of person. The type of market the HTC Fuze has been geared towards is people who need a phone for calls and texts first and foremost and like to download the odd bit of content. This phone would be perfect for a person in elementary school or a person that needs to stay in touch, and every once in a while download a game or song to their phone. HTC Fuze

    Design

    Rating Average

The HTC Fuze design is a standard design for the new line of HTC phones. The design is such that a person with large hands or clumsy hands will be able to manipulate the buttons properly and other options of the phone with ease. Although the phone is not fully touch-sensitive, the sleek design is non-bulky (4 inches high, 2 inches wide and 0.7 inches thick) and it weighs 5.8 ounces with the battery. Unfortunately, the phone only comes in black, but there are many cover designs to choose from to spice up the plain jane black on the HTC Fuze. To make up for this drab black color of the HTC Fuze there is a large 2.8 inch LCD touch sensitive flat screen. The attractive display draws the attention away from the plain body of the phone to the 480x640 resolution full color screen. The screen is so phenomenal that the pictures seem to jump out at you.

    User Interface

    Rating Average

The Touch Flo 3D design allows the user to interact with the interface of the HTC Fuze. This design also allows the on screen buttons on the phone to be used quickly and more precisely. The user interface of the phone also remembers different movements of the user and makes typing even quicker by predicting what the user will type next. The calibration of the device also allows for better usability of the device as well.

    Features

    Rating Average

The HTC Fuze has enough features to make even the iPhone jealous. The HTC Fuze comes with the popular G-Sensor that allows the screen to react to your movements and ensures the display is always right way up. This accelerometer feature is a huge hit with the avid gamer that likes to use their phone like a controller for a Wii game. Other features of the HTC Fuze includes a threaded text messaging feature and the Microsoft operating system which allows for the ability to dial directly using voice commands through the Microsoft Voice Command feature. It can stream music and has a video sharing feature which allows the user to share a video while on the phone with the sharing party. The 3 megapixel camera is fully equipped to catch even the smallest detail with its bright flash. There is also a nifty feature called the JetCet Print 5. This feature allows the owner to print documents, emails, photos and etc. directly from the phone to a compatible printer.

    Performance

    Rating Average

The HTC Fuze performance is not hearing aid compatible, but is compatible with multiple languages. It has up to 440 minutes of talk time. The photo caller identification and full duplex speakerphone, allows the user to easily answer calls when they are in compromising positions. Even although, there is not a standard headjack for the HTC Fuze, it does have Bluetooth capability. Also, the fingerprint magnet may take some getting used to, but in the end this feature also improves the performance of the HTC Fuze over time.

Overall, the HTC Fuze is a wonderful addition to the HTC line of smartphones. This phone definitely stands out on its own and is a great phone to have for those that are looking to break into the smartphone era and leave their old phones behind. The HTC Fuze has quite a few standard features that are excellent for everyday use and there are many more applications that are downloadable to this phone that make it stand out even more.
