If the boxes are elaborately decorated, you can use them to hold your trinkets or jewelry. If you do not like the way that the outside of the box looks, decorate it the way you wish to style it more to your taste. You can even paint over it to make it look more appealing.

Instead of giving loved ones gifts in bags or small boxes, consider saving the heart shaped boxes to reuse for their gifts. The boxes are roomy and give a good amount of protection. You can make Valentines cards to give to others from the heart shaped boxes. Cut off the decorated top part of the box so that it looks like a simple heart shaped Valentine. Flip the piece over so the decorated part faces down, and then decorate the opposite side. Write a note to your Valentine and present it to him or her for the holiday.
