The Garmin nuvi 2460LMT is one of the latest offerings by the Garmin corporation. This is a type of car GPS navigation system. While there are a lot of these models on the market, this one kind of stands out from the crowd, considering its large screen and attractive interface.

You can also remove this GPS system from your car and use it as a handheld system. Simply switch the device from car navigation to walking, and it gives your walking directions to your next location.

The points of interest (POI) database comes with 6 million points of interest, including restaurants, landmarks ad hotels. The device is installed with maps of all North America, including Mexico, Canada and the United States.

The major downside to this GPS system is the price. At the time of publishing, the cost for this unit is around $300, which is expensive for many people. This Garmin nuvi is similar to the nuvi 2460LT (about $250). The major difference between these units is that the Garmin nuvi 2460LMT comes with the lifetime maps. While you pay $50 more for this unit, you don’t have to pay for map updates, which will save you money in the long run.

Overall, the Garmin nuvi 2460LMT has a lot of amazing features, and the large screen is quite nice. The hands-free features will keep you from constantly playing with the device. Plus, you can take this device out of your car and use it on the street. And, you get free map updates.
