    Snap Capps Overview

Snap Capps are a clip-on device for canned drinks. They are essentially designed to keep the carbonation of soda intact for a lot longer and consequently keep spilling from happening. One of the best parts of having a Snap Capp is knowing that you would end up saving money that you'd otherwise spend on purchasing more soda.

The Snap Capp comes in a variety of colors and can be purchased in packets, boxes, or singles either at their official website or by a vendor that is usually for charities. The Snap Capp is made with a plastic that does not last for longer than a year, but at the price of $3-$5 it still seems like a good deal. Snap Capps

    Design and Features

    Rating Average
The sole purpose of the Snap Capp is to grasp onto the edge of the can and air lock everything inside. The Snap Capp features a screw-on cap that can be operated by any child or adult. The design is simple, but elegant to look at especially if the colors of the cap and soda can match. One concern would be to make sure the product being bought is in fact an official Snap Capp since bootleg versions may include toxic chemicals in the process of making a Snap Capp copy. The basic function of the cap is to act much like a bottle. The air lock mechanism allows the user to shake the can as much as they want to and still not lose liquid or have the can explode; however, it is not advised to actually shake the can vigorously before drinking.

Unfortunately, most of the time, Snap Capps will not stay on a can after it has been used a couple of times. One of the basic reasons would be that the plastic gripper is deteriorating. The good news is that the Snap Capps manufacturer has designed another version of the Snap Capp, which is available now, that is made of a better plastic material; however, upon using this new version, the same issues remained.

The only way to get the most out of Snap Capps would be to treat them as if it were a gadget that needed extra care before and after usage. If handled properly, such as washing after using with warm water instead of hot water, the Snap Capp's life expectancy is dramatically increased.

Unless you were trying to quit drinking soda, Snap Capps make a perfect gadget for those who love the outdoors, goes for indoor picnics, drinks while working on the computer, etc. The price is right and the value can be long lasting if the Snap Capps are taken care of properly. Always make sure the Snap Capps are hand washed and never use harsh dish soap as the chemicals may wear the plastic out sooner that way. Overall, Snap Capps are a perfect addition for the kitchen or a nice college student gift.
