You may need to exercise some patience if you want this phone. Some of its features include, an 8 megapixel camera, 3.7 inch HD touch screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 8GB internal memory flash, Android 2.1 operating system, speakerphone and a sleek external design. It has a virtual QWERTY keyboard, is Bluetooth enabled and is capable of most Google functions.

Some of the phone’s capabilities include visual voicemail, backup assistance, mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, text, picture and video messaging with threaded messaging capability, speech to text, FM radio and thousands of Android apps available for purchase.

This phone currently retails for about $530 but you can get it for $199 with a 2-year contract and online purchase. You also get free shipping. In addition to your regular voice plan, you will require a $30 per month or higher data plan and there is a $350 early termination fee if you decide to end your contract.

Motorola Droid X

The Motorola Droid X is another future android phone from Verizon with shipping to customers expected to start on September 6, 2010, accoding to the company website. Its many features include, an 8 megapixel camera, HD camcorder, 4.3 inch HD touch screen, 1GHz TI OMAP processor and 8GB internal memory, a pre-installed16GB microSD card, Android 2.1 operating system, speakerphone and a sophisticated design. It is Bluetooth enabled and is capable of many Google functions and is also capable of integrated Google, Facebook, Myspace, Exchange and Twitter contacts.

The phone has the following capabilities:3G Mobile Hotspot that can support five devices, text video and picture messaging with threaded messaging, visual voicemail, VZ navigator, Skype Mobile, V CAST, backup assistance, Wi-Fi and thousands of Android apps available for purchase.

The phone retails for $570 but is available for $200 with a 2-year contract if bought online. This phone also requires a minimum of a $30 per month data package and there’s a $350 termination penalty if you decide to end your contract early.

LG Ally

LG Ally

The LG Ally is one of the most popular Android phones among Verizon customers with four out of five stars. The phone has a sleek design with a silver and black case. It has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 megapixel still and video camera with auto focus, a 3.2 inch touch screen and is Bluetooth enabled. Its capabilities include V Cast media manager, text, picture and video messaging, several Google apps and thousands of Android apps available for purchase.

Verizon is currently (as of August 2010) offering the LG Ally up for sale. With a 2-year contract and if you buy online you can get the phone for $50 instead of the normal retail price of $370.
