iPhone 4 vs HTC Desire HD
The HTC Desire HD is among the iPhone 4's fiercest rivals today. It's very hard to compare these two excellent smartphones and choose the better unit. Feature-wise, both are loaded with 1GHz processors - Apple's A4 and Desire HD's Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD 8255. Both processors are top class and ultra fast. Another point of comparison is of course the two smartphone's display screens. Can the the HTC Desire HD compete with the infamous Retina Display which happens to be the iPhone 4's best feature? The HTC Desire HD edges out the iPhone 4 in terms of memory storage. As we all know, the iPhone 4 doesn't have an expansion slot while the Desire HD supports SD memory card up to 32GB. The rest of these two smartphone's features are pretty much on and off between them - meaning one edges it over the other on one feature while it's vice versa on another feature.

HTC Droid Incredible vs iPhone 4
When we previously compared the iPhone 4 vs HTC Droid Incredible, our choice for the better smartphone was the iPhone 4. Hopefully, this will not discourage you from buying the HTC Droid Incredible because in its own right, this smartphone is a great device. It has a good 8MP camera, memory storage expansion slot and full day battery life. However, these all pale in comparison with the iPhone 4 except for the absence of a memory card slot.

Nokia N900 vs iPhone 4
When comparing the iPhone 4 vs Nokia N900, the most obvious point of comparison is with regards to their design and form factor. The iPhone 4 is obviously thinner than the N900 and for those who value this aspect, the iPhone 4 is definitely the best choice. This makes the iPhone 4 lighter as well. One thing that the N900 has which the iPhone lacks is the full QWERTY keyboard. Some smartphone users prefer an actual keyboard to the iPhone 4's virtual one. When it comes to storage, the Nokia N900 clearly beats the iPhone 4. The N900 comes with an onboard 32GB plus expansion by way of microSD card slot. Another point of comparison is the overall interface. Prior to multitasking features, the N900 would have edged out the iPhone 4, but then the iPhone 4 can now handle multitasking so, that evens up the competition. Which is the better smartphone? - iPhone 4.

Nexus S vs iPhone 4
The Google Nexus S is the newest smartphone which is posing a challenge to the iPhone 4. It is a Samsung-manufactured smartphone which closely resembles the Samsung Galaxy S. It's really hard to compare these two smartphones because their features are almost of equal value. Three key features of the Nexus S that the iPhone 4 has include - the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, better hardware features and greatly unique design and form factor. All the rest of the key features are dominated by the iPhone including - fantastic touchscreen feature, better camera output, support for third-party applications and a robust App Store.

Samsung Vibrant vs iPhone 4
The Samsung Vibrant is a beautifully designed and well crafted smartphone. It's one of the best looking among the many Samsung smartphones. However, unlike the iPhone 4, it doesn't look as solid and sturdy. Compared with the Samsung Vibrant, the iPhone 4 is thinner, slimmer and weighs less. Comparing these two phone's display screens is not an easy prospect. We all know that the AMOLED screen of the Samsung Vibrant and the Retina Display are the industry standard right now. What will separate these two smartphones when it comes to display is the fact that the Vibrant has a bigger screen size while the iPhone 4 has the better resolution. Can the Samsung Vibrant compete with the iPhone 4? Yes it can, but unfortunately - the iPhone 4 still will emerge as the winner.

Another Nokia smartphone that poses a challenge against the iPhone is its flagship Nokia N8. iPhone 4 vs Nokia N8, which is the better smartphone? Our previous comparison declared the iPhone 4 as the winner when it comes to various aspects - screen display, apps, 2 cameras, ease of use of OS and other new features of the iPhone such as FaceTime and FindMyPhone. The iPhone 4 is also more stylish than the Nokia N8. That's not to say that the N8 doesn't have desirable features. In fact there are quite a number of good features of the N8 including - FM radio, price, Ovi Maps and personalization of the home screen. But still, the bottom line is - the iPhone is the better smartphone.

HTC EVO 4G vs iPhone 4
We have mixed reactions here at Bright Hub as to which smartphone is better - iPhone 4 vs HTC Evo 4G. I chose the iPhone 4 over the HTC EVO 4G for reasons such as better design and form factor, support for third-party apps from the App Store which extends the iPhone 4's features and functionality and of course, the fact that it is the center of Apple's smartphone strategy. Unlike the HTC EVO 4G which is just one of the many Android smartphones available in a disintegrated ecosystem. Unfortunately, I did not share the same verdict as another Bright Hub writer, declaring the HTC EVO 4G as the better smartphone. Reasons cited include - openness of the OS and app market, better cellular services offered by Sprint, and the fact that the HTC EVO 4G is the first 4G smartphone. Which is your winner?

BlackBerry Torch vs iPhone 4
iPhone 4 vs BlackBerry Torch? If I had to decide which one to get, my choice is obvious - the iPhone 4. I've owned the BlackBerry Bold 9700 but had to let go of it because I couldn't find any reason to keep it except for the fact it had the BlackBerry Messenger tool or BBM and the excellent QWERTY keyboard which the iPhone 4 doesn't have. However, the BlackBerry Torch's edge over the iPhone 4 stops at those two mentioned features. All other features of the BlackBerry Torch fail in comparison with the iPhone 4's features. But still, many will prefer the BlackBerry Torch because of its business orientation, especially the capability to access enterprise email networks.
