Conduit Social Networking Menu Tutorial

For people with no coding experience whatsoever, simply adding a toolbar to a website can be a daunting task. However, this is where services such as Conduit’s custom toolbar creator come in handy. Although it is always best to get a designer/developer, Conduit is completely free and features a simple "what you see is what you get" creation method. Conduit has a fair amount of features and customizations.

Conduit’s main flagship feature is whats called a "community" toolbar. This let’s users customize the toolbar with their own additions when on your site. Understand that community toolbar is not the same as a navigational menu that comes standard on many website templates and blogs. Instead, a community toolbar allows your website users to add a special "Your Website" toolbar to their browser. For example, you have probably been prompted to install The Google Searchbar, or Yahoo Toolbar before… This is like creating a similar toolbar that showcases your sites features.
