The Complete Guide to Live Search

microsoft live search logoLive Search was an internet search engine released by Microsoft in 2007. Live Search replaced Windows Live Search, which in turn replaced MSN Search. Live Search has since been superseded by Bing. Some versions of Internet Explorer still show Live Search in their list of search providers, however all requests to the Live Search service are redirected to Bing.

Live search used to include additional features such as a book and academic search, but both have since been cancelled.

This guide reviews some of the unique and advanced features of Live Search, and provides tips on how it could be used.
