Controlling Flies

Aside from being an annoyance, flies are dirty. And, aside from being dirty, they can carry and spread disease. Black flies can carry and pass dangerous diseases to animals and humans. West Nile Virus is one. And, with the end of summer, it seems as though flies are invading the home and attacking people and animals like never before.

Keeping the house clean and free of trash, keeping screens on the windows and keeping doors and using a fly repellent will help prevent fly attacks. Eliminating the problem with dangerous sprays and repellents can be costly to you, your family, and your animal’s health. Making a natural fly repellent will ensure that you are not dousing yourself or your loved ones with harmful chemicals found in some commercial products and bug sprays.
