This new edition Wii of the Pro Evolution series for the Wii brings more fluid controls to the gameplay, a more realistic approach showing more sponsors, and more real teams compared to other soccer games.

OverviewRating Good

ProEvolutionSoccer2009WiiCoverPro Evolution Soccer 2009 looks as good as the cover and as good as the previous incarnation; if you want to buy your first soccer game, this is the best you can get, not only in the Wii but on other consoles as well.. The game is really easy to catch on to and it has tons of replay value that will make the player enjoy this wonderful game for a long time.

The overall score is a four, because the game plays with a safe formula that ensures a degree of success and acceptance of a market that doesn’t enjoy too many changes.

GameplayRating Excellent

12One amazing thing about Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is the gameplay, it has been improved to become more user friendly and controlling the characters is easier than ever. It doesn't matter if you have the Wii or the PS3 version both exhibit the same degree of quality that players search for in a good sports game.

The controls are highly responsive to the player’s commands, easy to learn and really dynamic because they make the player execute a series of commands with their hands and the Wii remote before doing an actual move.

Great gameplay and the given score is a perfect five.

GraphicsRating Excellent

The graphics are excellent, a big improvement compared to last years version, and the settings look more realistic. There is one setback in the Wii version, the characters don't look as real as the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions but nobody expects too much with the Wii's lack of graphics capacity, but still the visual experience is mostly intact.

Sounds, Music and BGMRating Excellent

The sounds and BGM are relatively okay but they aren't the best asset. Technically, there is no BGM at all except for the sounds that mimic the experience of being in a Stadium. Perhaps the developers should consider copying details of other soccer games to make the experience a bit more interesting.
