The game rocks big time. The graphics are excellent, the storyline is great and the gameplay is really cool. There isn't anything bad about Resident Evil 4 except for the badass monsters who gives plenty of challenge to the players regarding their experience in video games.
Resident Evil 4 is as good as it looks in the cover. It has a great replay value which is an asset that many games don't have today. You can try the different levels with different difficulties and discover new things that you didn't found before and expect new behaviors from the same enemies you faced before.
One negative aspect that the game has is in the voice acting of the enemies. They sound more Mexican mixed with Salvadorians, and that takes some credibility out of the game.
This Nintendo Wii game is technically perfect, especially in the fact that the difficulty is quite intense as any other Resident Evil game.
The game graphics and effects are extremely good. The details in the scenarios as well as the characters make the experience unique in every new turn. You feel like if you are inside an horror movie and you must find your way out of the mess you are in.
The sounds and BGM are perfect. They give a tense atmosphere to the game and they complement the graphics perfectly; they play an important aspect because without them the game wouldn't be the same and it wouldn't be the same eerie environment that you can practically breathe death in every corner of the game.
The only negative aspect of the game is the voice acting; it's quite unrealistic. The actors don't portray any of the accents found in Spain. They sound more like a weird mix of Central American dialects rather than the real deal.
Even with the small flaw in the voice acting, the gameplay is a dream. It is really cool, smooth and easy to catch.
Resident Evil 4 is excellent and a must buy. It has everything -- great doses of action mixed with horror at a very affordable price. The game sure looks different from any previous version, but it's really fantastic. It gives a new perspective to the R.E. mythos where humanity is doom and there is no hope while a new set of species arise from the dust of Earth.
