There is a glitch that works with the striker, well sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. First you need to go to the inventory menu, then close it, quickly hit "B" and then hit the minus button. You can now equip any weapon beside the striker to the inventory screen. Sometimes there is a side effect with the glitch that will let you move quickly but much of the time it doesn't work. In my experience it will work mostly with the weapons if you can execute the glitch correctly. If you want to stop moving quickly just take the striker off and you will return to normal. The probability of doing this glitch is extremely minimal and if you want to do it, go ahead but be patient.
There are only a few cheats in the game and all of them are in the mode of unlockables, they are not easy but with some practice you can obtain them all. Below is the list of unlockables and how to obtain them:
- Complete the game one time and you will unlock the alternative title screen
- Complete the Separate Ways Mode to obtain Ashley's Armor
- Beat the main game one time and you will obtain Ashley's pink outfit
- Beat the game one time and you will obtain Ada's assignment
- Beat Ada's assignment and you will obtain the Chicago Typewriter
- To obtain the Hand Cannon, get a five star in all stages with all the characters in the Mercenary difficulty
- To obtain the Infinite Rocket Launcher just beat the game once
- Beat the main game once and you get Leon's uniform
- To obtain Leon's suit just beat separate ways one time
- To obtain the Mercenary difficulty just beat the main game once
- To obtain Professional difficulty just beat the game in Normal mode and when you beat professional difficulty you will obtain the PRL weapon
There is not much to explain about the game, the mechanics are similar to previous incarnations of the Resident Evil series but there are a few things in this game which are different from the others, i.e. there is invincibility, and that feature doesn't appear too much in many of the previous games; below there is a list with some hints that you may find useful during gameplay.
1) If you have Ashley's armor, she will become invincible to any attack from zombies or weapons, the alternative suit is quite useful but Ashley speed will be decreased. It comes in handy at the moment of repelling zombies when both characters are in playing together and there is a comedic effect that Leon will complaint about Ashley's weight because of the armor's extra pounds.
2) If you want to save some ammo and if you are surrounded mostly by a Ganados pack just use a flash grenade and they should die within the moment of the explosion.
3) To obtain easy money, carry an empty Hand Cannon, collect ammo and store it in the empty Hand Cannon, after collecting the ammunition just sell it to the merchant and you can have some extra money just in case of an emergency.
4) To obtain a different movie scene at the title screen, hit the minus button and you will get a different clip.
