The Sims 2: Nightlife is even more fun than The Sims 2: University, the social activities are plentiful and highly entertaining, you can get your own car, stop by for a game of poker, and even become a vampire if your Sims 2 life is becoming boring.

The Sims 2: Nightlife doesn't add anything to the actual game play you remember from previous Sims 2 experiences, but it does add to existing game play concepts with a lot of additional content.
The Sims 2: Nightlife shipped with a few new bugs in the code from earlier titles, which isn't unusual with computer games, but is unfortunate considering they could fix them if they wanted to (EA certainly aren't short of cash). Characters would occasionally freeze up during play or quiver in place for a few seconds, and conversational icons would occasionally get mixed up and the text would be an unreadable mess of lines.

The new screens with The Sims 2: Nightlife include nicely rendered views of your neighbors' lots from inside your home that really add to the immersive feeling of being at home.
The details and textures included with The Sims 2: Nightlife are above average, you'll be seated by a host with facial features that are a little blockish, eat a nice looking meal that looks reasonably edible, and flirt with a waitress when your date isn't looking. The character models look engaging and attractive enough to keep your attention.
The animations in The Sims 2: Nightlife are as smooth as all of the Sims 2 titles, the cars, the characters; all the moving parts were synchronized and fun to interact with.
