Assassin’s Creed 2 launched November 17th amidst a massive marketing campaign and massive gamer expectations. In addition to this, Patrick was at the Montreal International Games Summit speaking to fellow makers of games and students of making games. Though obviously busy, he was nice enough to sit down with us and talk about AC2.

His enthusiasm for the game is obvious, and he was able to tell us a lot about the new game. THIS DOES INCLUDE SOME SPOILERS (I kept most of the spoilers out of the write-up mentioned above). In addition to story elements, Patrick tells us about AC2’s length in hours, achievements, collectable Feathers, rewards, as well as deciding to include automatically adjusting difficulty, the identity of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and what it is like to have made a game that is so anticipated.
