  • the questions with buying educational software for schools

I am trying to research the pricing and sales model of educational tools within schools.  These would be supplemental or ancillary material with a full curriculum product and will be offered fully online.  I'm tyring to learn how the pricing and access to these work:

    1) is it an annual subscription model - the district or school pays a fee per student per year?

    2) is it a purchase with the standard classroom material?

    3) is the access to the online textbook and material only good for a certain period?

    4) what are schools willing to pay for online engaging material that goes along with their classroom curriculum?

If anyone has an opinion on these questions or know of a resource online for finding these answers I would be very appreciative.
