This article series will take a look at the agility courses in the game Runescape so players will have a better feel for what the agility courses offer them.

Runescape is a free game you can get online and play with thousands of other fans. There is a pay version but there is a free version of it with just not quite as many features. It has many skills that you can train up and have for your character and agility is one of them. Agility is always a good trait for a character to have and one that you should look into. There are ten agility courses in the game for you to go and train on. You are allowed what are called “boosters” so that you can enter courses that are a wee higher in level than what you are currently too.

Agility course one is the Gnome Stronghold. It is a level one course so you can start off as a newbie here and get some agility. You’ll find this course NW of Ardougne. There will be many trainers that will help you out if you want to know more, just look for the gnomes.

There is a lap bonus of 39 for a total experience Per Lap of 86.5.

To maneuver the course you will need to walk across the tree branch up the net to be in the other tree. Climb up that tree’s branch and get to the next level of the tree to balance on the tight rope across. Then climb down the tree’s branch to the ground, climb over that net, and then through the pipes to be on the side that you weren’t on. That’s all there is to a lap and you’ll get 86.5 experience per lap.

The second agility course we’ll talk about is the Brimhaven Agility Arena which doesn’t have a requirement level but most of the agility obstacles are at 20 and there is a level of 40 needed to use them all. The white obstacles you can do at a level of 1, but the blue ones take a 20 to cross, and a red obstacle will take a level of 40 to cross and do. This will help you know which ones you are able to do and when.

This agility course is an underground cavern that takes a 200gp fee to enter. It is near a bamboo hut NE of Brimhaven, with Cap’n Izzy No-Beard. You will be competing against a clock for tickets, you go through the obstacles (25 platforms) to one with a arrow that flashes and get a ticket by tagging a pillar. It will change randomly each minute. Try to do this agility course while wearing Karamja gloves 2 or Karamja gloves 3 so that you will get 10% more experience. You don’t want to be carrying a lot of weight through this course so that your energy will stay up and available.
