In Warhammer Online, there are at least 4 different tiers for each race. The tiers are divided into different leveling areas, with 1 being the lowest starting areas and 4 being the highest areas. There are only two capital areas in the game, which would be closer to tier 5, and these are for The Empire and The Chaos Frontier. The other races in the game have capitals but they will not be available during the beginning launch of the game. As the game launches, there are 33 tiers, with others to be launched at later dates. In each tier, there are special areas that will have better grinding spots than others due to the concentration of mobs that are easy to kill and drop good loot. To help you along through the different tiers, here are the best grinding spots for each area according to the class that you have picked.
*NOTE: keep in mind that you will always find spots that you like to grind in for the drops that you will pick up. For example, if you are trying to farm money, then you don't want to grind on animal, or non-humanoid, mobs. But, if you are trying to farm for mats, then you may want the animal mobs. For those who are lower levels of their tier, you want to stick to the areas that are meant for you to grind in. Venture out into the others, but be cautious.
The Dwarves vs. the Greenskins Frontier: the tiers for the Oathbearers (Dwarves) and the Bloody Sun Boyz (Orcs) are divided like this:
Oathbearers:
Tier 1 = Ekrund
Tier 2 = Barak Varr
Tier 3 = Black Fire Pass
Tier 4 = Kadrin Valley
Bloody Sun Boyz:
Tier 1 = Mount Bloodhorn
Tier 2 = Marshes of Madness
Tier 3 = Badlands
Tier 4 = Black Crag
Neutral Tier:
Tier 4 = Thunder Mountain
The Oathbearers - The Oathbearers are all strong, sturdy characters with careers to match. As an Oathbearer, you can choose between the following three classes: Ironbreaker (tank), Runepriest (Healer), or an Engineer (Ranged DPS). Each of these classes have perks and downsides, but they all have one thing in common, they are strong and easy to level.
The Bloody Sun Boyz - The Bloody Sun Boyz are the largest tribe of Greenskins in the game and are led by two brutal leaders: Grumlok and Gazbag. As a member of the Bloody Sun Boyz, you will get to choose from the following three careers: Black Orc (tank), Shaman (healer), Squig Herder (ranged DPS).
