Runes in Diablo II Lord of Destruction

Diablo II Lord of Destruction has 33 runes that can be used in different socketed items for special buffs and attributes. At times you can put then in a certain order and have rune words formed for even extra added bonuses.

Availability of Runes

Common runes in order from most to least common are: El, Eld, Tir, Nef, Eth, Ith, Tal, Ral, Ort, Amn, Shael, and Thul.

Semi-rare runes in order from most common to most rare: Sol, Dol, Hel, Io, Lum, Ko, Fal, Lem, Pul, Um.

Extremely rare runes in order from most common to most rare: Mal, Ist, Gul, Vex, Ohm, Lo, Sur, Ber, Jah, Cham, Zod.

Runes in Diablo II Lord of Destruction

El: Level 11, gives +1 to light radius and +50 to attack rating when placed in weapons, and +1 to light radius and +15 to defense when in armor, helms and shields.

Eld: Level 11, gives +50 to attack rating versus undead and +75% damage versus undead in weapons, 7% increased chance of blocking in shields, and 15% slower stamina drain in armor and helms.

Tir: Level 13, gives +2 mana after each kill when placed in weapons, armor, helms, and shields.Nef: Level 13, gives knockback ability to weapons and +30 defense versus missile in armor, helms, and shields.

Eth: Level 15, gives -25% target defense on weapons and regenerates mana 15% in armor, helms, and shields.Ith: Level 15, gives +9 to max damage in weapons and 15% damage going to mana in armor, helms and shields.

Tal: Level 17, gives +19 poison damage every 2 seconds while in weapons and a 30% extra poison resistance in armor, helms and shields.

Ral: Level 19, gives 5-30 additional fire damage to weapons and a 30% extra fire resistance in armor, helms, and shields.

Ort: Level 21, gives 1-50 additional lightning damage to weapons and a 30% extra lightning resistance to armor, helms, and shields.

Thul: Level 23, gives 3-14 additional cold damage in weapons and a 30% extra resistance in armor, helms, and shields.

Amn: Level 25, gives the ability to steal 7% life from a hit in a weapon and have the attacker take a damage of 14 in armor, helms, and shields.

Sol: Level 27, gives +9 to minimum damage in weapons and has damage reduced by 7 in armor, helms and shields.

Shael: Level 29, gives 20% increased attack speed in weapons, 20% faster hit recovery in armor and helms, and 20% faster block rate in shields.

Dol: Level 31, adds a 25% monster flee to weapons and replenishes life +7 to armor, helms and shields.

Hel: Level 33, reduces requirements 20% in weapons or 15% in armor, helms, and shields.

Io: Level 35, adds +10 to vitality in weapons, armor, helms, and shields.

Lum: Level 37, adds +10 to energy in weapons, armor, helms, and shields.

Ko: Level 41, adds +10 to dexterity in weapons, armor, helms, and shields.

Fal: Level 41, adds +10 to strength in weapons, armor, helms, and shields.

Lem: Level 43, gives 75% extra gold from monsters in weapons, and 50% extra gold from monsters in armor, helms, and shields.

Pul: Level 45, gives +100 to attack rating versus demons and +75% damage to demons when in weapons, +30% enhanced defense in armor, helms, and shields.

Um: Level 47, gives +25% open wounds in weapons, +15 to all resistances in armor and helms, and +22 to all resistances in shields.

Mal: Level 49, prevents monster heal when in weapons and gives magic damage a reduction of 7 while in armor, helms, and shields.

Ist: Level 51, gives +30% better chance to get magic items while in a weapon and +25% better chance to get magic items while in armor, helms, and shields.

Gul: Level 53, gives +20% to attack rating and +5% to maximum poison resistance in armor, helms and shields.

Vex: Level 55, gives 7% mana stolen per hit to weapons and %5 to maximum fire resistance in armor, helms, and shields.

Ohm: Level 57, gives 50% enhanced damage in weapons and +5% to maximum cold resistance in armor, helms, and shields.

Lo: Level 59, gives +20% to do deadly strike in weapons and +5% to maximum lightning resistance in armor, helms, and shields.

Sur: Level 61, gives the ability that a hit will blind target in weapons, increase maximum mana by 5% to armor and helms, and +50 to mana in shields.

Ber: Level 63, has 20% chance of a crushing blow in weapons and has damage reduced by 8% in armor, helms, and shields.

Jah: Level 65, will ignore targets defense in weapons, give an increase to life of 5% in armor and helms, and will give +50 to life in shields.

Cham: Level 67, will freeze target +3 in weapons and makes you unable to be frozen in armor, helms, and shields.

Zod: Level 69, gives indestructibility to weapons, armor, helms, and shields.
