Game Play
Rating Excellent

Despite the simplicity of the game, Farmville is actually very fun to play. It is perfect for the casual gamer who doesn’t have much time in a busy day to do much gaming. It is very easy to learn and even a game that a smaller child could play along with a parent. The graphics in the game are fine and do the job adequately. There is a soundtrack but it is the same song played over and over again which you may tire of quite quickly but there is a sound option button so you can turn this off. You can take a photo of your game with the photo option and send it to a friend so they can see your progress. To get the most out of the game you should try to find as many friends as possible to join and be your neighbors in the game it just makes the game play better for everyone and you can compete to see who can build the best farm. The new ribbon system gives you something to strive for when deciding what to build on your farm.

Farmville is an easy game to play that is fun for all ages. To get the most out of the game invite your Facebook friends to be a part of your Farmville community. Grow some crops and compete to see who can become the ultimate Facebook farmer.

Keep in mind that while many other players are accessing Farmville, certain features may not always load correctly. This is due to an overload of activity or from a Zynga update. If this occurs, be patient and remember that if it's not loading for you, it's probably not loading for many others.

Farmville Tips For Starting Out

  • Plowing the land uses up game coins so watch how much you plant you want enough cash leftover for your seeds.
  • Some crops grow very quickly and will die if you can’t harvest them on time. Pick longer growing crops if your going to be away from your computer for days at a time.
  • Visiting your friends farms and completing the occasional quest there will help you gain experience.
  • Make use of the gift system and send items with your new friends who might not have much on their farm yet.
  • Trees will continue to grow fruit after harvesting so you don’t have to buy a new one.
  • If you've decided it's the right game for you, check out the Farmville Crop Guide on the next page.

    Facebook Games? Really?
I would much rather spend my time with Real Games I load on my computer! You have to be really bored to get hooked on their stupid games. You figure if a million (actually it's more) people decided to make a purchase (like the stupid fish game) in order to get ahead faster, you are putting tons of dollare into Zynga's CEO pocket who is on his yacht laughing at all the people who have nothing better to do than sit on their computer and play games. Find a hobby people or better yet, save your money and buy a real field you have to plow.

    Questions...please help!
The pink balloons mean that your animals are ready for harvesting. The 0% means that the animal has been harvested and it will be ready again once it hits 100% again. If you don't want to plow an area keep your cursor away from it. Your character will plow all areas that you have designated to be plowed.

    Questions...please help!
How do I quit plowing once I have done as much as I want, icon just keeps plowing places I do not want it to?
What do the pink balloons over animal heads mean?
Why did my reindeer go back to 0% ready when I brushed them?
What is the point of the stupid nutcrackers?
    Thank you?

    fuel
Would like to know how the fuel works.
When you buy 1 fuel refill it gives you 150/150 what does that mean, that you can harvest and plow 150 squares a day. If you buy a second refill does it mean you can harvest and plow 300 squares a day.............from then on or just for that time Thanks

    Farmville Loading
The reason why this game won't often load is it is very popular with over 50 million users per month. You will get better results if you use Firefox. The game is also still in a beta form too.

Those coins are just a graphical reaction to the fact that you found some extra coins while harvesting. They automatically get added to your total. You don't have to actually catch them.

What are the coins that seem to fly up when plowing or planting? How did you catch them or what do you do?

    Farmville Won't Load
Before you invest time in this game, be aware that from time to time (and far too often) Farmville will not load. I have been unable to access Farmville for two days. It will load up about 80% and stop. I have tried every remedy I could find on the internet--but nothing works.
