A Rs Guide About a Runescape Clan Wars Minigame Strategy

Clan Wars is a place in Runescape where clans can test their abilities against others without risking any of their items. It has only been in the game for a short time, but many people head there to really show off their abilities. Many clans go into the minigame without any strategy, except to win. Well, here is a way to surround your opposing clan, which will ultimately help you to defeat them with ease.

Before the minigame begins, you have some time to get ready to fight. You should use this extra time to grab your clan's attention and set up three groups. When you split up your clan into groups, you'll want two smaller groups and a larger third, which will contain the majority of your clan. For example, if you have a clan of 10, split up into two groups of 2 and one group of 6. If you have a clan of 15, split up into two groups of 3 and one group of 9. Send the large group out to the middle and have them stand by the gate. The reason for having the middle group larger is to make it look like the entire clan is all at the front. Send the other two smaller groups to the left and right sides of the arena, but make sure they stay quiet and out of sight.

Now, when the timer runs out and the gates start to fall, the two small groups should run straight out along the outer wall. They then should cut back in towards the middle of the map, where the large group is located. The large middle group should consist of the more powerful, higher level players in the clan, so they can hold their own while the two outside groups run around the back of them.

Take a look at the diagram to the left. This is a basic diagram of what each group should do.

The large group should be all melees with strong defense gear on. This is mostly because of the close range combat fighting that will occur, and wearing any other type of armor will result in a fast death. The smaller groups should be the far-casters. Far-casters are considered to be the rangers and mages, since they can attack while being a good distance away from the combat area. These attacks will not be noticed, at first. When the attacks are noticed, your opponents will have to make the choice of running a far distance to kill the far-casters or staying to finish off the higher level melee attackers.

This Clan Wars strategy should work to surround, confuse, and ultimately eliminate your opponents with ease. It may not work with the same clan multiple times in a row, as they will soon catch onto what you are doing. However, if you pull this strategy out once or twice, you should be able to gain some quality wins for your clan.
