WoW Patch 3.1 - New Glyphs For Death Knights

Everyone is buzzing about the upcoming patch 3.1 and all of the new changes and fun things it will bring. Well, I have your sneak peek at the tons of new Glyphs that are coming out that will help you enhance any class - Scribes, get ready - here are the new glyphs for the Death Knights.

Inscription Profession

In the expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard introduced the new profession Inscription. Here, you take herbs, mill them into pigments and make ink so that you can write out inscriptions that players can create Glyphs for each class to help them buff up special powers or spells. Players can buy or trade for these Glyphs (if they aren't an Inscriptionist) and then head to a Lexicon of Power to place them in their spell book so that they will get the buff that they want.

In the upcoming patch, Blizzard is releasing a ton of new Glyphs and some awesome updates to current Glyphs so that all classes will have some great new buffs to add to their toons. Here is your list of the updates and new Glyphs that are set to hit the servers soon.

Death Knight Glyph Upgrades

If you are totally in love with your Death Knight, like most of us are, then you'll want to know about these updated Glyphs!

Glyph of Death Strike: The old version of this glyph increased your power by 2%, regardless of the amount of runic power that you had. But, the new version will increase your power by 2% for each 5 points of runic power you have.

Glyph of Icebound Fortitude: The update to this glyph will grant 30%+ damage reduction no matter what your defense skill is currently. The old glyph on made it where Icebound Fortitude didn't cost you any runic power to use it.

Glyph of Plague Strike: While the old version of this glyph only did 20% additional damage when you used this spell, the new version will do 60% more damage - which is a massive amount in power change.

Glyph of Strangulate: The update to this glyph will reduce your cooldown on your Strangulate spell by 60 seconds, which mean that you'll have less time to wait to silence casters. The old glyph simply increased your range by 20 yards.

Glyph of Unbreakable Armor: The update on this glyph will actually increase the amount of damage that you can absorb by 1% when using this glyph, where as the old one only granted an additional 15% armor.

New DK Glyphs

And, there are some great new ones that will be awesome to have and help you customize and empower your DK even more! These are all NEW Glyphs that will come out with Patch 3.1:

Glyph of Death Coil: This glyph will lower the runic power cost by 8 when you use Death Coil.

Glyph of Howling Blast: This glyph actually makes your target infected with Frost Fever when you use Howling Blast.

Glyph of Hungering Cold: This glyph will actually reduce your runic power by 10 when you use Hungering Cold.

Glyph of Pestilence: This glyph will refresh all of your diseases on a target back up to the max that they are when they are first cast.

Glyph of Unholy Blight: This glyph will increase how long your Unholy Blight lasts by 10 seconds.

Changes for the DK Class

There are more great updates and new glyphs for each class that are coming out with patch 3.1.
