Intro to Training a Rune Pure and Beyond

When you are training to be a Rune Pure, you should train on Rock Crabs. To find instructions on how to get to Relleka to train on Rock Crabs, read over "Runescape Pking Rs Guide (Part 3.2): The Obby Maul Pure (Part 2)" to get all the information and map that will get you to the Rock Crab training spot.

When you have 40 defense+, you are going to want to move onto something more beneficial to your levels. Your defense will let you move onto more aggressive monsters, but also let you gain more exp. You will want to move onto Bandit Training or Giant Spiders.

Giant Spiders

Giant Spiders are level 50 and are located on the third floor of the Stronghold of Security in Barbarian Village. The third floor is the bright green floor. You will need to complete the first two floors of the stronghold to get down to the thrid floor to train, if you haven't already. They give 266 exp per each and you can hit fairly high on them, as they have low defense. They also have a pretty low attack, so you can stay down there for a good amount of time. These, with 99 Strength, will give you around 50k-60k exp per hour, depending on your armor, weapon, and potions used.

What to Wear for Giant Spider Training

I would not recommend training here if you have low defense. I would say, once you are a complete Rune Pure, meaning you have 40 defense, it would be ok to head to these to train on. Wear the best armor you can so that you will be able to stay in the rooms longer and train. I would suggest Rune or better.

If you are training Attack or Defense, use a whip. For Strength, use a dragon scimitar or a Sara Sword, but the Sara Sword is very expensive and most use a dragon scimitar.

For potions, you can use super potions if you have money to work with. If not, use combat potions; they are cheap and leave more room for food. Take 3-4 for your first round, with a Varrock teleport tab, and the rest of your inventory as food. See how far this set up gets you, and then make adjustments as needed to optimize your training time.

What To Do When They Stop Attacking You

Every once in a while, around 10-20 minutes, the Giant Spiders will stop attacking you. In this case, run outside the room and get attacked by another creature on the floor. This will regenerate your Giant Spider kill count, and they will begin to attack you once you enter the room again. Make sure that the other creatures attack you. If you attack the other creature first, your kill count will not reset.

A Second Option

Another way to train, which may be more beneficial, is Bandits. In "Runescape Pking Rs Guide (Part 8.2): Bandit Training," I will go through the second way to train to the pures that come after Rune Pures.

The good thing about both ways is you can "afk," meaning you are away from your computer. You can easily train without paying much attention to your character. However, you still have to pay some attention while training because you may lose tons of money if you happen to die!

Great guides, heres some things to fix
Hey great guide, you've compelled me to play RS again ;)

you don't get aggressivness restarted by getting attacked, you do that by going to another room. what i do is train in west room for 10 minutes, run to north, train for 10 minutes, run to south, repeat, good exp.
