Think the G Maul Pure owns? Move onto the DDS Pure! The DDS Pure will get you many kills and more money! Learn about the armor, the the weapons, and the strategy for pking with the DDS Pure in this Runescape Pking Rs Guide.

The DDS Pure

The DDS pure is, in a way, the same as the G Maul pure, but better! You will be able to hit higher, have more special attacks, and be faster!

The DDS Pure has the requirements of 60 Attack, 99 Strength, and 1 Defense. It's only 10 levels in Attack above the G Maul Pure, but it lets you use dragon items. To get these levels up, since you still have 1 Defense, you need to train at Rock Crabs. Rock Crabs can be found in Relleka and a way to get there is explained in the "Runescape Pking Rs Guide (Part 3.2): The Obby Maul Pure (Part 2)" and a map is also provided to show the way to the spot.

The DDS Pure Items

The DDS Pure has the dds as the main weapon. The dds has three names that are used amongst players in the game; the dds, ddp++, and the dragon dagger poison++. Other weapons to be used are the dragon longsword or the dragon scimitar. The dragon scimitar has a requirement to use it, which is the completion of a long, sort of difficult quest called "Monkey Madness" or "mm" for short in the game.

The armor is the same as the G Maul Pure. Monk robes or full iron for the armor. A strength ammulet for your neckalce with your choice of any cape. Mithril gloves, the Unholy Book for a shield, and gray climbing boots for your feet. If you need to know how to get those, take a look at "Runescape Pking Rs Guide (Part 4): The G Maul Pure" as it will explain how to get these items.

How to Pk with the DDS Pure

The DDS pure really opens up your door to more choices. You can attack higher levels, meaning you will be able to earn more money by pking. You can also choose to K.O. the lower level noobs, which is good fun and instead of you being the target, you can target them!

You can either 1v1 or join a clan with this pure. I will not explain how to pk in a clan, because I will explain every tactic to pking in a clan in a later article. When you are soloing in this pure, your strategy should be to find someone easier or comparable to your account. If your feeling touch, you can always go for the higher levelers, but it has more risk!

Attack your opponent with the dragon scimitar or longsword. If you want, you can run in opening up with your specs, but then all you have is your scimitar or longsword to finish off your opponent if your specs aren't lucky. This is why I would start with your dragon scimitar or longsword, attacking the opponent getting him down to 3/4 to 1/2 hp. Switch to your dds and put on its spec before your next hit so you are quick and psyche out the other player. You get multiple special attacks and, over time, your special attacks regenerate.

The Next Pure

The next pure is the Whip Pure. This pure is like the DDS, but will be more of a risk, but you will get more kills, too. Take a look at the next article in the series to see what the Whip Pure can do and how it owns!

No quests mentioned at all.
The biggest mistake in this guide it's that you didn't mention quests. If you train to 40 defense and dont do any quests, not only will you not have barrows gloves ancients lunars or turmoil, you'll end up having over 45 defense and over 60 attack (for pures too). You never EVER train defense or attack, it can all be gotten by quests. I have a 75 99 45 zerker account and did every quest needed for lunars handcannon ancients and turmoil without going over 45 defense.

You can train it if you want, but for the best and most complete account you should do every quest possible that gives attack defense and prayer exp. If you need proof pm me ingame, xetios.

Pvping
Well, in my opinion, you just screwed off the most important pvping styles: the maxed account. Yes, pures are fun. But they are kinda pathetic for a few reasons:

1. The only thing they can do is pvp. GWD? No.
2. Maxed (all 99s) are so much better because they CAN do all of the cool quests, they can train whatever they want, and in the end, they will own the pures. Yes, it takes a lot longer than pures. But if you want a maxed account, heres my little training guide:

1. 1-20 att (wield mith scimi)
Train on monks near edgeville
2. 1-30 str
Monks
3. 20-30 att (wield addy scimi)
Monks
4. 30-40 str
Monks
5. 30-40 att (wield rune scimi)
Rock crabs in Relleka
6. 40-70 str
Rock crabs

Once you have this, then start magic training:

1. get from 1-55. I dont care how you do it, just get there.
2. 55-66 high alching.
3. 66-99 air orbs (takes a while, but you will make a huge profit)

or

66-99 high alching (faster, but most likely you will lose. I recommend a combo of air orbs AND high alching).

Next, go to range:
1. 1-40 (using bronze arrows, and keep using the best shortbow you can, rapid style attack)
Train on monks
2. 40-60 (using iron knives, attack experiments. Requires quest "Creature of Frankenstrein" to be completed. Use iron because they are only 3 gp more than bronze)
3. 60-80 (green dragons, use mage short with steel arrows until 66, then use rune cbow with saphire (e) bolts.)

Now back to melee training:
1. train attack 40-60 on experiments/rockcrabs. equip a dds
2. train strength from 70-90 on rockcrabs. use dds spec when needed.
3. train attack from 60-70, then buy an abby whip.
4. train strength 90-99
5. train attack 70-99 with abby whip. green dragons are easy prey.

Go back to train range, chinning in chaos tunnels to 99.

Finally, train def. With 99 str and att, you will get it twice as fast as those skills.

This isnt a perfect guide, but a maxed pvper is much better than a pure, only takes longer to get.

Epic fail
epic fail of a guide bro.

At least introduce the range/mage/gmaul pures. rofl pro ownage at lvl 50-70

80-ish range and mage, 99 str, 50 att, 1 def

Bind them with the best available bind spell (preferably on ancients) and hit them with mithril knives or anything better. You can bring them down to like 1/3 of their hp that way and finsih them off with a gmaul spec. When they run away, bind them again (drink a restore potion) and spec them again with g maul.

That would be a lvl 60-ish guide to ultimate pking.... condensed into a much more descriptive comment than ur guide.

Plz, no more guides on ur behalf
