City of Heroes 14-Day Trial: Register and Download to Try City of Heroes for Free

City of Heroes is one of the most unique experiences in MMORPG gaming. No other game offers comic book fans so many options with which to create their own personal hero.

For those who wish to experience the game without paying the full purchase price, NCsoft offers a free City of Heroes trial with 14 days of access to both City of Heroes and the City of Villains expansion. These instructions will guide you through the trial account registration and City of Heroes download.

The first stop for anyone interested in checking out the game for themselves is the City of Heroes 14-day Free Trial page. Click the giant “Get Started” button in the center of the page to be taken to the PlayNC account creation page. Those who have previous experience with NCsoft games can log in with their existing PlayNC master account information. New players will need to click the “Create Account” button.

Choose your language preference on the next screen and proceed to the account information screen. Enter your desired username and password along with email address and click “Continue.” On the Personal Information screen, enter your date of birth, country of residence, and the captcha code at the bottom of the page. First and last name are optional fields, so anyone wishing to remain anonymous can simply leave them blank. Click the “Create My Account” button to continue.

The next page is a confirmation screen with a download link and a copy of your master account information. You will use your master account information to log into City of Heroes.
