The main aspect of the Prayer skill is the ability to use these prayers to advance certain aspect of your player. These are the prayers and what they will do to your Runescape character.

In addition to being able to use a prayer to your advantage in battle, you can use more than one at a time. Keep in mind that they won’t stack, so a defense prayer won’t stack with another defense prayer; try a defense prayer with a strength prayer, etc. A protect prayer will keep you safe from attacks from monsters. Only Verac has the ability to penetrate through a protect prayer. Other players have a 50% lesser chance to hit you with a protect prayer active. While this is active you can only use a magic prayer, an attack prayer, a strength prayer, a ranged prayer, or a protect from summoning prayer. The first 21 prayers are for F2P (Free to Play) characters and all 27 prayers are attainable for P2P (Pay to Play) members.

F2P Prayers – Lower Level Prayers

These are the prayers that are available to you. These will tell you the name of the prayer, the level of prayer ability you’ll need to do it, and the affect that the prayer will give you.

These are going to need a prayer level of below 10 to do, plus they will only boost up to around 5% of the item.

Thick Skin requires a level of one in the prayer skill. It is the starter prayer that you can do. It will drain at a rate of a point every twelve seconds and it will give you a defense boost of 5% while active. The 5% is off total defense levels.

Burst of Strength requires a level of 4 in the prayer skill. It will drain at a rate that is a point every twelve seconds. The prayer will boost your strength by 5%. This 5% is off of the total strength number.

Clarity of Thought requires a prayer skill level of 7 and will drain at one point every twelve seconds. It will buff a gamer’s attack skill by 5%. The 5% is taken off total attack skill.

Sharp Eye needs a prayer level of 8 to use. It will drain at the normal one point every twelve seconds and it will buff the player’s ranged skill by 5%. This 5% is calculated on the total ranged weapon skill.

Mystic Will requires a prayer level of 9. It drains a point every twelve seconds and buffs up your magic ability by 5%. The 5% will be calculated off of the total magic ability.

F2P Prayers - Mid Range Level Prayers

These are going to need a prayer level of 10 to 27 to do, plus they are going to boost you around the 10% mark.

Rock Skin is a better form of Thick Skin; this requires a prayer level of 10. It will drain at one point every six seconds. It will give a defense boost of 10%.

Rapid Restore has no restrictions and can be used with any of the prayers. It requires a prayer level of 19, drains at a point every 26 seconds, and it will double the restore rate of all your skills (other than Summoning, Prayer, and Hitpoints).
