Ninja Gaiden 2 - Superb Ninja Action For the PS3

 You play as Ryu, everyone's favorite female ninja from Ninja Gaiden's past. Taking out werewolves, the Black Spider members, and super hard bosses throughout the game. While there are two more heroines that will join you, Ayane and Momiji, - each having their own special level to play in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - the story line doesn't change that much from previous Ninja Gaiden games.

 Since this was originally just an Xbox 360 only release, those that own the PS3 are rejoicing that they finally get a chance to play as their favorite ninja in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. But there are some changes to this new version that you may - or may not - want to know about.

Personally, I could care less if you can play the female ninja and wiggle her oversized, uh, "endowments" at any time you want just by using a special Sixaxis function. Come on guys, us gamer girls want some fun here too...

What does make that worth forgetting is that there are three completely new ninja levels, screaming to be beaten - all complete with their own special heroine. Ah, I couldn't ask for more, sweet new hot ninja chicks to control in a guy's sword ruled world.

 There are also some great new multi-player modes where you can work together, kill twice the mobs, and offer up more fun than you could ever have thought possible in any of the multitude of ninja games out there.

Of course, there are still some areas that could have stood some changes, but I won't complain too much - I mean, I did get new ninja chicks to play right?

 Who doesn't love some good slice and dice with your favorite ninja weapons? I mean, fighting the bad guys, jumping back and forth from your two chosen ninjas, and jumping/leaping/gliding/chopping your way through the game has it's perks right?

Well, with the new content added into Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, you will easily find that this version of our old favorite is massive fun to play. Anyone that is a fan of Ninja Gaiden will love that the game play and the moves are even more fluid and perfected in this game, and that even those finishing moves have melded into a flawless wonderful victory over any enemy that you come up against.

While some of the gore of past Ninja Gaiden games has been dulled down a bit, the game play has not. In fact, this is probably some of the hardest ninja game play in any of the Ninja Gaiden games out so far. You'll find harder bosses here, different enemy mobs to fight, and new areas and levels to take on. To me, this only adds to the game play over all, and gives an old favorite a whole new feel to please both old and new fans alike in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

The massive amount of multi-player mode game play in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is one of those areas where you simply have to try your hand. This gives a whole new depth to the game, and you will find that some areas that were once boring to you suddenly become more fun and offer a completely unique ninja experience for both of you.

As you can easily see from the screenshots below, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 offers some breathtaking graphics. With a constant flow of cherry blossoms floating around the game, it offers a softer way to kill off some enemy ninjas that come to get in your way. The lines throughout the game are extremely crisp and clear, giving great depth to the characters, the mobs, the scenery, and the game overall. And, I for one, absolutely love the colors and the way that everything seems to flow together perfectly. The artists did a superb job with the graphics here in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

If you are any type of Ninja Gaiden fan, no matter which version you like the best, I would recommend that you at least rent Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 if you don't want to pay the $60 price tag for it right now. With the new content, the beautiful graphics, and superb ninja fighting action, this is one of those ninja games that any self-respecting fighting game fan cannot be without.
