Why Sony Playstation Lego games are kid-friendly, easy to understand and great for kids aged 4 and up.
Sony Playstation teamed up with Lego to create great game play on each of the Playstation consoles. These games are often based off of movies or hot items in the media. Star Wars and other off shoots of the Star Wars movie's have been turned into a kid-friendly Lego Playstation game or games. Indiana Jones is one of the newest released versions of Lego Playstation games for the Sony Playstation consoles. Batman based off of the movie The Dark Knight was also newly released for the Lego Playstation series. Other Playstation console Lego games are Lego Island 1 & 2, Star Wars: The Complete Saga (PS3) and more to come as the Lego game phenomenon catches on.
As the mother of two young boys I get to find video games suitable for there ages. From time to time I get requests which seem absurdly violent or hear reports in the news about children doing strange things after playing a video game. Sometimes however a video game is just that a video game. When it comes down to it the best kid-friendly video game's my family has found are the Playstation Lego Games for the Playstation 2 console. These games are easy to play and understand even if you can't read the script's before the game play. My older son, 8, can read it but my younger son, 4, cannot read it yet. They both give the Lego games two thumbs up since it is fun. They can create characters, unlock new items, find cool stuff and collect tokens to become higher ranking characters. For them this is one of the best aspects of the Lego games but also included in the list of things they love are the great graphics, the ease of using controller functions and the story in general. You don't have to read the script to figure out what's going on. All of these reasons combined make the Playstation Lego games brilliantly kid-friendly. As a mom it is great to watch them beat the bad guy and instead of seeing blood spilling watch lego piece's get scattered.
All of the Playstation Lego games for the Sony gaming console's are rated E for Everyone. It is true! I have played these games along with family members of all ages. These ages range from 4 to 30+ years of age. Each of us has played the lego games with ease and enjoyed ourselves. It is also a plus that the Playstation Lego games are multi-player and single player games. The whole family can get in on the fun. Not much can be better than doing something you enjoy like playing video games and spending quality time with your family at the same time.
