This is the first time that the Star Ocean franchise is appearing on the PSP. As such, it is offering the game retroactively with a remake of the first Star Ocean which debuts 12 years ago in Japan on the super famicom. Being the first PSP game for the franchise, the game would best serve those who have not played a Star Ocean game before. The game promises a vast world, or rather space to explore, exciting game plays, character skills development and practically everything that you could probably ask for in a role-playing game.
