Fatalities are one of the most fun and exciting features of Mortal Kombat, and this game is no exception. There are loads of gruesome fatalities to unlock. Here are some of the best.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe for the PS3 or Xbox 360

All of the DC bad guys and the Mortal Kombat warriors in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe perform fatalities as their finishing moves. In this article, we'll provide you with information, hints and tips on the fatalities for these characters. We'll list the commands for the fatalities, along with the distance you should be standing according to the following information. "Close" means the fatality won't work unless you're standing right next to your opponent when you press the correct button sequence. "Sweep" indicates that you need to stand one or two steps back from your opponent, but still within distance to execute a leg sweep. "Far" indicates that you need to stand at least one jump length away from your opponent before executing the button sequence. You should also make a note that you can hold the Block button while entering the button sequence for fatalities, which will stop your character from moving out of position to execute the fatality. Holding the Block button is also useful for stopping yourself from jumping into the air when executing moves that require you to press up on the control pad.

Mortal Kombat Warriors & DC Bad Guys Fatalities

Baraka is a large and aggressive warrior who has two fatalities that should be used as finishing moves after executing successful attacks that leave your opponent in a vulnerable position.

Fatality 1 - input the following sequence on the control pad - left, right, down, right, 1 (Close) - use this fatality mainly in combination with Baraka Smash, Skinned Alive, Tears of Pain, Doom Kicks, Feasting on You, and Tricky Fury. In this attack Baraka attacks the throat of his enemy and tries to end the battle, once and for all.

Fatality 2 - right, right, down, down, 3 (Close) - use this fatality in combination with Skinned Alive, Power Chop, Tarkatan Chop, Nail and Impale, and Launching Success. During this attack Baraka knocks down his opponent and pins him to the floor using his blades.

Jax is a very strong and powerful fighter with a nice mix of super moves that allows him to play the offensive game well at any distance. He has two fatalities that are both good finishing moves, despite being less effective then many of the other warriors. One is great for close combat while the other is effective at range.

Fatality 1 - left, right, right, left, 2 (Close) - Jax should use this attack in combination with Jax Attack, Crunch Time, Briggs' Bash, and Tricky Combat. Jax will grab his opponent around the head and squeeze during this attack.

Fatality 2 - right, right, left, left, 3 (Close) - Use this fatality in combination with Army of One, Air Strikes, Reserved Pain, and Uppercut. During this attack Jax shoots his opponent using his machine gun.

Kano is an egotistical and talented fighter with moves designed to keep the pressure on his opponent at all times. Kano's fatalities aren't as spectacular or effective as many of the other fighters but they should still be used as finishing moves. He has two fatalities, one for dealing with opponents up close and the other for finishing his opponent at distance.

Fatality 1 - left, down, left, right, 1 (Close) - Kano should use this fatality in combination with Krusty Boot, Rage Machine, Black Dragon Claws, and The Rage Kicks. This attack has Kano throwing his knives at his opponent to finish them at range.

Fatality 2 - down, down, right, left, 4 (Sweep) - Kano should use this attack in combination with The Rage, Fighting King, Tornado Twist and the Rage Kicks. During this attack Kano will execute gymnastic moves that leave his opponent in a vulnerable position and finishes them.

Kitana is a fast and aggressive female fighter with moves that will leave the boys bloody and battered at any range. She has two fatalities, both are effective at medium range, and can finish off her opponents quickly and effectively.

Fatality 1 - left, left, right, 1 (Sweep) - Kitana should use this attack in combination with Swift Butterfly, Hammerhead, Queen of the Sky and Crazy Wind. Kitana will use her fans to eliminate her opponent while executing this finishing move.

Fatality 2 - right, down, down, left, 3 (Sweep) - Use this fatality in combination with Swift Butterfly, Pain Giver, Crazy Wind and Blast Off. Kitana will administer the Kiss of Death during the execution of this fatality, a scene that has to be seen to be believed.
