 Sonic the Hedgehog makes the list of one of the worst PS3 games due to its many glitches. Loading times on every level are extremely slow, which leaves gamers constantly waiting for their PS3 console and not playing. Game controls are ultra sensitive with bad camera angles. Other times there is no control over your character during game play and is replaced with animated sequences. Despite brightly colored graphics, the detail is somewhat blurry and bland. Even though you loved Sonic on the old school Sega, I would steer clear of this PS3 game if you can.

 This PS3 game is an action/strategy battle simulation game that is a disappointment with no story, unresponsive controls and problematic frame rates. What should be a fast action title, your mobile suit character moves at a tediously slow pace with unnecessary pauses between any action changes (like weapons). Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire also suffers from bad voice dialog and poor customization options. Again, steer clear of this awful PS3 title.

 This historical action game is one of the worst PS3 games because of a confusing storyline and game play. From the start, gamers will have difficulty knowing where to go or what to do. Battle action sequences are difficult due to bad camera angles that force the player to constantly move from one side of the screen to another in order to destroy enemies. Some can even get beyond your reach, which causes the screen to glitch. Then the player is overwhelmed with enemies that results in your character losing large amounts of health. All of these problems make Genji: Days of the Blade one horrible PS3 game.

 You would think a game where you can fly on a fire breathing dragon would be cool. Unfortunately, Lair does not make game play a fun experience with bad game controls throughout. During flying sequences, more time is spent adjusting your direction and speed on your PS3 controller rather than performing combat actions. Contact with boundaries and objects can cause your character to lose perspective on their location. Lair also suffers from too many cut scenes, fuzzy graphics and repetitive sound and voice dialog.

 Bad jokes and sexual innuendos are frequent in this embarrassing video game. Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust qualifies as one of the worst PS3 games since most of the time you spend performing meaningless actions and trying to score with ladies using cheesy lines. To torture you further, the game suffers from jerky animation and choppy frame rates. Game play is filled with uninteresting repetitive platforming actions (like double jumping and climbing). Your PS3 controller is also not very responsive in this game which can cause many players some frustration.

 This tactical RPG PS3 game is not for your average gamer. Not only is the story hard to understand, but any information given to you through text is difficult to read. Game play is confusing with bad control features and gives you no sense of direction. The graphics Mist of Chaos is comparative to early PS2 games, and not what a good PS3 game should be. There are just so many problems with this one, that it's almost hard to know where to start and end. Make sure that you stay away from this PS3 game and don't waste your money here.

 The Soldier of Fortune game series is best known for their PC versions. This console version makes the list as one of the worst PS3 games since it suffers with an extremely slow frame rate during game play. Unfortunately, it becomes worse as larger numbers of enemies appear. It looks like the game was released too early before all bugs could be ironed out. Aside from mindless violent actions, there is no storyline to draw in gamers for repeated play sessions.

 Originally released in PC and Xbox 360 formats with great reviews, F.E.A.R. 2 suffered in its conversion to the PlayStation 3 version. Visually the PS3 version looks a bit blurry and plays at a sluggish rate. If not for the technical issues, it would be a good title. However, gamers who are interested in playing this should look to one of the other formats for the best experience.

 Terminator Salvation should have been a good game. Fighting for the survival of the human race against SkyNet seems like a cool premise. However, it disappoints players with a poor game presentation and anti-climatic cut scenes. Game play is boring and not engaging. Even the Terminators you encounter are uninspiring and not too difficult to kill with your PS3 controller (once you figure it out). Although many actors from the film do voiceovers in the game, it lacks the central character – John Connor (played by Christian Bale). The game is also short with only two levels of difficulty, limiting its replayability.
