Fable II Easy Cheats and Tips

Some cheats to get easy experiences and easy money in Fable II for the XBOX 360 platform. Stated also in this article some easter eggs in-game concerning the game series or other matters.

Easy Experience

When you are halfway through the game and seemed to have decent levels, you can gain easy experience by abusing the co-op method. You can do this by first plugging in another controller and beginning a co-op game. You should now use the second controller to go to your people's abilities and discarding everything. The experience you gained will be returned to the XP Pool. Quit the co-op game, and you will notice a glitch or something similar, where all the returned experienced have been transferred to your hero. This is an easy way to get experience, and you can repeat this as many times as you needed to.

You can also get easy experience in Bowerstone Market. Go to the Town Square and find a potion shopkeeper on the left side of the town square. You will see a building. Walk around the right side of the building and go down on an alley to find a house called the Monster Manor. Sleep here to gain its benefit, which is +1 Star of Physique. Once you gain the benefit, go to the abilities screen and select physique. Drop the point learned on Monster Manor by pressing the Y button. You will find out that the bonus star from the house will not disappear, but you keep the experience earned from getting it. You can repeat this process as many times as necessary for easy experience gains.

You need to have purchased the Bowerstone Old Town's weapons stall for this. If you haven't, you can do this now. Buy weapons on your own shops. As it is owned by you, the price should've been discounted by about 30%. Next, go to the blacksmith at Bowerstone market and sell the goods to him, the profit will most likely be higher then when you bought the items first. Repeatable as many times as necessary.

Alternatively, you can also go to Bowerstone Slums instead, and buy the most expensive weapon(s) there from the weapon trader. Next, go to Fairfax Garden, and sell them to one of the wandering merchant (one of them is a weapons trader). You will gain profit about 30-40% in return, as they bought higher than your expenses.

You can also start to get easy money at the time you have purchased your first shop. Every five minutes in-game, you will receive an amount of money. You can use this to your advantage by first saving the game, then changing the date of your Dashboard (make sure you aren't connected to XBOX Live). Change at least one year from today. When you have launched back the game, you will already have decent amount of money, due to the time skip. You can either do this again, or invest your money in other shops, and repeating the procedure. You will net more profit by doing that.

Easter Eggs: Game Logo

During a side quest "Treasure Island of Doom", you will find Lionhead Studio logo. When you get to the treasure island, look at the island in the middle of the lake. You will notice that it is in the shape of Lionhead Studios logo.

An easter egg found in Bowerstone Market is referring to the first Fable game. In Bowerstone market, listen to the talking children. Eventually, you will hear one of them says "Being good is so boring", which refers to the box-guarding mission at the beginning part of the first Fable game.

Another reference to first Fable game can also be found on Bowerstone. Go to Bowerstone Old Town and walk around. Eventually, you will hear a girl cry for a teddy bear named Rosey. This is a reference to the first missions on Fable I, which is to find a girl's lost teddy bear, which is also called Rosey.

A reference of "Pirates of the Caribbean" can be found beside the blacksmith's store in Bowerstone. Near the store, there will be a few tombstones. Examine them, you will find out that one of them reads "Cpt. Sparrow where did it all go wrong", a reference of Jack Sparrow from "Pirates of the Caribbean"
